The are several windmills on the island, great bike paths which take you to nature reserves where you can enjoy the abundant wildlife! Spuipark or a trip to the nature reserve “The Rhoonse Grienden” are also worthwhile and can be reached by talking the small ferry! Rotterdam and the sea are also easy to reach, both are 30 minutes away. In short, an ideal place for a relaxing vacation or weekend away.
